LabyrinTilt is a single-player puzzle game. It does not ask who you are, it has no accounts, no sign-in and no password. It does not sell data, does not show advertising, and carries no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. It does register for push notifications, which is described in full below.
When you first open LabyrinTilt, the app generates a random identifier โ a string of random characters with no connection to you, your device's serial number, your phone number, or any advertising identifier.
That identifier is stored in your device's Keychain and is used for one purpose: to attach your progress, your unlocked cosmetics and your best times to your copy of the game, so they survive reinstalling it.
Attached to that random identifier:
Motion. The game reads how you tilt your device in order to roll the orb. This reading happens entirely on your device, in the moment, and is never recorded, stored or transmitted. If you would rather not use motion at all, the game is fully playable โ including every medal โ using touch controls.
Camera and photo library. These are only ever requested at the moment you choose to use them, to set a profile picture or to save a picture of a run. The image stays on your device. It is not uploaded, not analysed and not shared. Declining either permission leaves the rest of the game completely unaffected.
The app asks whether it may send you notifications. Whatever you answer, it registers this installation for push messages with our own server, which means it sends two things: a push token issued by Apple and Firebase for this installation of the app, and the same random identifier described above. The token addresses a copy of an app on a device. It is not an account, it does not identify you, and it changes on its own from time to time.
This is used to send you occasional messages about the game itself. It is never used to pressure you into playing: there is no streak to lose, nothing expires, and a notification will never tell you the game misses you.
If you decline the permission, no notification is ever shown to you. If you would like the registration removed entirely, see Your rights below.
To find crashes and performance problems, the app collects anonymous technical diagnostics: device model, operating system version, app version, crash reports, and timings for things like level loading.
These describe the software, not you. They contain no contacts, no messages, no photos, no location and no browsing activity.
LabyrinTilt needs a connection once, the first time you open it, to set up your profile and download the level data. After that, the entire campaign is playable with no connection at all.
Online features โ leaderboards, the Daily Labyrinth and syncing progress between reinstalls โ simply wait until you are back online. Nothing in the game blocks you for being offline.
The game is built to use Google Firebase to back up your progress, run leaderboards, and collect the crash and performance diagnostics described above. Where that is switched on, Firebase processes the data on our behalf under Google's terms, and it may be stored on servers outside your country.
No other company receives your data. There are no advertising networks, no analytics brokers and no data resellers involved.
LabyrinTilt is suitable for all ages. It contains no advertising, no purchases of any kind, no chat, no messaging and no way for players to contact each other. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
Your progress is kept while you keep playing, so that it is there when you come back. If a random identifier is not seen for 24 months, the record attached to it is deleted automatically.
You can erase everything sooner. Deleting the app removes the local copy, and the Reset Progress control in the game's settings erases the stored record as well. You can also ask for erasure through the support form inside the app; because there is no account, you will be asked to send the request from the device itself, which is the only way to prove the data is yours.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase the data held about you, and to object to its processing. The in-app settings provide export and erasure directly, and the in-app support form covers anything else.
One honest limitation: because the game deliberately holds nothing that identifies you, a request cannot be matched to a person โ only to a device. Requests therefore have to come from the device holding the data.
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the updated version will appear here and the app will ask you to read it again before you carry on playing. The date below always reflects the current version.
